The Association for Foreign Investment & Cooperation (AFIC) is an Armenian non-profit, non-governmental business association devoted to the promotion of foreign investment, development of international economic cooperation and private entrepreneurship. 

AFIC was established in 1998 by a group of Armenian businessmen representing some of the country's business circles in industry and commerce. The recognition of the need for adequate support to foreign investors and their Armenian partners, consolidation of efforts of business associations in advocacy of business community has led to the establishment of AFIC. 

 AFIC supports the implementation of policies, which are oriented at democratic reform in economy, development of private entrepreneurship and strengthening business associations and are more successful in attracting foreign investment and assisting foreign investors to set up their operations as quickly and painlessly as possible in Armenia. 

For taking full advantage of the benefits of foreign investment, Armenian business people need to be trained in the norms of international business practices, including business ethics, business management, human resources development and foreign partnerships. Furthermore, successful cooperation with international investors demands greater information links between Armenian businesses seeking investors and the investors themselves. AFIC supports to seek out potential foreign investors who may be interested in investment opportunities in Armenia, using the technical expertise and databases of various international organizations. 

AFIC is ready to assist foreign investors in various areas of investment where further technical cooperation is needed in order to make the conditions move favorable for the promotion of foreign investment, provide direction, guidance and information throughout the search and negotiation process. 

AFIC strongly believes that there exists an integral role for foreign investors to play in the further development of the Armenian economy.
