The main objectives of AFIC are:

• creation and development of free market relations and stable economic and investment environment in Armenia, in which private foreign companies can take risks to develop new businesses with local partners; 

• to ensure the effectiveness of foreign investment initiatives in privatization process;

• establishment and development of  international economic cooperation with foreign and International relevant organizations in purpose to attract foreign expertise for accomplishing the Association's tasks;

• promotion of a regulatory and legislative system that responds to investors' needs;

•  identification of investment opportunities in Armenia by sectors of economy and preparation of prospects for and constraints on foreign investment

• assistance to various international projects aimed at promotion of economic reform;

• representation and protection of  the rights of the Association's members at different levels of governmental structures and non-governmental organizations;

• implementation of foreign modern technologies and know-how in Armenia, analysis of suitability of various forms of innovative financing arrangements.
